Our Little Voices, as Dr. Eby used to call us, played an active role in our church services, singing in many Sunday morning services, as well as special events like Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday. Our director was Katharine Dutton, whose own lovely voice filled our church's sanctuary. She was a graduate of Eastman School of Music and a talented musician. And she was pretty. As I recall, there wasn't a 10 year old boy in her choir who didn't have a secret crush on her.
