Seguros Catalana Occidente attends the Sant Miquel Agricultural Fair in Lleida for the third consecutive year

Seguros Catalana Occidente will participate again this year in the Sant Miquel Agricultural Fair in Lleida to present its products and services to small and medium-sized companies in the agri-food sector. Visitors to the Seguros Catalana Occidente stand, in Pavilion 3, number 336, will find the company's offer of insurance products and services designed for small and medium-sized companies in the agriculture and livestock sector.

The Combined agriculture insurance  of Seguros Catalana Occidente covers damage to farm and livestock holdings against unpredictable hazards, such as fire; crop loss; livestock diseases and adverse weather conditions; among others, and guarantees revenue and the continuity of the holding business. In other words, it is designed to ‘Manage the unpredictable’.

The last three years has seen an increase in the sale of agriculture insurance policies, a trend which has continued in 2018. In the first six months of the year, Agroseguro (Spanish Association of Insurance Companies of Combined Agriculture Insurance) registered an overall increase of 3.5% in premiums compared to the same period in 2017, reaching a volume of 430.91 million euros.  In the case of Seguros Catalana Occidente, the volume of premiums in this sector rose by 17.38% in the first six months of the year.

The annual Sant Miquel Agricultural Fair in Lleida attracts many professionals from the sector due to the large offer of farming machinery, equipment and services for the agriculture sector. The fair also holds technical seminars on various topics related to the agriculture and livestock sector.
