Seguros Catalana Occidente sponsors the 20th edition of the Sant Silvestre Barcelonesa-Sant Cugat race

Seguros Catalana Occidente sponsors the 20th edition of the traditional Sant Silvestre Barcelonesa-Sant Cugat race. By doing so, the company is once again supporting this fun run, which is to be held on 31 December, for the third year in a row.

At the signing of the agreement, which took place at the Seguros Catalana Occidente's branch in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Domingo López, the Sant Silvestre's technical manager, was present, along with: the Seguros Catalana Occidente's Sant Cugat del Vallès branch manager, Juan Algar, and Joan Matarín, one of the company's most prominent local agents.

Algar said that Seguros Catalana Occidente "is proud to sponsor a race for the third consecutive year that is so deeply rooted in the Vallès locality", which, in his opinion, is "yet another example of Seguros Catalana Occidente's involvement in Sant Cugat del Vallès".

In turn, Lopez expressed how highly he appreciated Seguros Catalana Occidente's support for the 20th edition of the race and pointed out that the event will be the last activity organised in Sant Cugat del Vallès as a European City of Sport.

In addition to the fun run, the ‘San Silvestre Kids’, a non-competitive, categorised event participated in by boys and girls of up to 14, will take place, whose aim is to encourage younger children to do sport. To sign up for all events, please register on the website www.santsilvestre.com.
