AM Best maintains the Rating of A (Excellent) for GCO's main operating entities, confirming its financial strength

The rating agency AM Best has once again confirmed the Long-Term Financial Strength Rating of A (excellent) and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of A+ (excellent) for Occident and Atradius, the main operating entities of GCO in life and non-life insurer business and also in credit insurance. This rating reflects GCO's solvency and financial position.

In the case of Occident, AM Best highlighted the strength of its balance sheet, assessed as very strong and favoured by its liquidity and minimal dependency on reinsurance. The agency also emphasised the company's solid operational and technical performance, as well as the insurer's sound business risk management.

In the credit insurance business, the rating agency also underlined the strong balance sheet and performance of Atradius, consolidated by appropriate risk management. In this sense, AM Best highlighted Atradius's strong risk-adjusted capitalisation and positively assessed the company's liquidity position and conservative investment portfolio. It also highlighted the geographical and sectoral diversification of its portfolio exposure.
