Occident and the Association of Certified Insurance Brokers of Castellón sign an agreement to drive development in the sector

"The insurer, which has 147 mediators in the province of Castellón, emphasises being close to the mediators and supporting them in their professional development as priorities."

Occident and the Association of Insurance Brokers of Castellón have signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of strengthening the institutional relationship between both entities and promoting joint initiatives aimed at professionalising and promoting insurance brokerage in the province.

The agreement establishes a stable framework for cooperation to develop training, outreach and professional support activities aimed at both registered mediators and Occident's commercial network. The planned activities include the organisation of technical conferences, regulatory update sessions, specialised workshops, and sector meetings, as well as Occident's participation in events and forums promoted by the Association.

During the signing, both entities highlighted the importance of creating collaborative spaces that allow them to address the current challenges of mediation, especially in areas such as digitalisation, excellence in customer service, and the constant updating of skills.

'For Occident, being close to the mediators and supporting them in their professional development are our priorities. This agreement with the Castellón Association will allow us to strengthen our collaboration, promote new initiatives, and continue building, together with the professional collective, a more solid, prepared, and customer-oriented sector', explains Álvaro Soriano, director of the Valencian Community Brokers Zone at Occident.

For his part, the chairman of the Association of Certified Insurance Brokers of Castellón, Fernando Solsona, reacted positively to the signing of the agreement, stressing that it represents a significant boost to strengthen the relationship with a leading insurer in the Spanish market.

With this agreement, Occident consolidates its commitment to professional mediation and reaffirms its commitment to a distribution model based on closeness, support, and continuous training.
