Occident and the Alicante Association of Insurance Brokers renew their collaboration to promote insurance mediation in the province

"The insurer, which signed a collaboration agreement with this institution, continues to consolidate its commitment to mediation as a strategic distribution channel"

Occident and the Alicante Association of Insurance Brokers have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening training, professional exchange, and the development of initiatives that consolidate the key role of mediation in the insurance sector.

The agreement was signed by Florentino Pastor Tierra, President of the Alicante Professional Association of Insurance Brokers, and Pascual Rosser Limiñana, Director of Brokers for the Alicante Zone at Occident. The signing reaffirms the shared commitment to drive projects that contribute to the growth of professional mediation in the province and to strengthen specialised advice as a differentiating value for customers.

Under the agreement, both entities will collaborate in organising awareness activities, technical workshops, conferences, seminars, and professional meetings aimed at registered brokers. Additionally, the agreement includes Occident’s presence in various communication channels of the Association, as well as the possibility of using the Association’s facilities for presentations or training sessions.

During the event, Florentino Pastor Tierra highlighted the importance of strengthening ties with insurers committed to mediation: "This agreement enhances our ability to provide members with tools, training, and valuable insights. The collaboration with Occident, which supports the professionalisation of the sector, is essential to continue raising the quality of service we offer to the public”, he said.

On behalf of Occident, Pascual Rosser emphasised the company’s strong commitment to mediation as the primary channel of proximity and trust with customers: "We work to support brokers with training resources, technical support, and close relationships that allow us to continue providing increasingly qualified customer support that reflects their real needs. This agreement with the Alicante Association strengthens our connection with a key province for our network”.

The agreement opens a new stage of closer collaboration between the two entities, based on mutual growth, continuous improvement, and the dissemination of best practices that contribute to the development of the insurance sector in Alicante.
