Centro Zaragoza renews Occident's AutoPresto garages' certification as a sustainable network

"The network, comprised of 471 garages with a presence in 98% of the national territory, carried out 67,574 repairs for its insured parties in 2025, achieving a service satisfaction rate of 90.6%"

Occident's network of AutoPresto garages has renewed the 'CZ Sustainable Garage Network' certification, awarded by Centro Zaragoza, for the fourth consecutive year, a distinction that endorses the network’s commitment to the continuous improvement of sustainability and the implementation of good environmental practices in the daily activity of vehicle repair.

This renewal certifies that AutoPresto garages operate under a common framework of supervision and improvement aimed at reducing the environmental impact of their activity, optimising resource consumption and moving towards more efficient and responsible management models. The Centro Zaragoza scheme periodically evaluates various indicators related to the environmental performance of the garage and the degree of adoption of sustainability measures.

Supervision and improvement of sustainable practices

The certification focuses on the implementation of specific measures that contribute to reducing the garages' environmental footprint, such as improving energy efficiency within facilities, promoting the use of LED lighting over traditional systems, incorporating renewable energies—such as solar panels—or replacing fossil fuels with electricity in processes such as paint booths. Responsible waste management practices and efficient equipment maintenance are also important factors.

This model allows for the continuous monitoring of the actions implemented and the establishment of plans for improvement that help garages to progressively move towards increasingly demanding sustainability standards.

Antonio Gutiérrez, Occident's Director of Partner Networks, said: 'The renewal of this certification reflects our commitment to promoting a network of garages that not only offers a quality service, but also incorporates clear sustainability criteria into its daily operations. We support our garages as they adopt best practices and reduce their environmental impact in a measurable and continuous way.'

The renewal of this certification is part of Occident's global commitment to a responsible business model aligned with the 2024–2026 Sustainability Master Plan, which articulates GCO's strategy around good governance, sustainable business, social commitment and environmental liability.

A network with a wide presence in Spain

Currently, the AutoPresto network consists of 471 garages, covering 98% of the national territory. This extensive network allows Occident customers to access a nearby garage designed to offer a fast repair experience with key advantages.

In 2025, AutoPresto garages carried out 67,574 repairs for Occident's insured parties. The network model closed the year with a Service Satisfaction Index (SSI) of 90.6%, an indicator that reflects the positive assessment of customers both in the technical quality of the repair and in the overall experience of the process.

A streamlined and distinctive repair experience

In addition to the environmental aspect, the AutoPresto network provides Occident customers with an efficient, local, convenient repair service backed by guarantees. Specific benefits for insured parties include discounted rates, priority repairs, express services for minor damage, and a 3-year guarantee on repairs, among others.

The network also incorporates benefits designed to facilitate customer mobility and peace of mind, such as vehicle collection and delivery, courtesy vehicle, general vehicle check and free cleaning.
