Occident renews its collaboration agreement with the Professional Insurance Brokers Association of Córdoba, Huelva and Seville

"Occident and Colmedse renew their alliance to strengthen brokerage and training in the insurance sector in Western Andalusia"

Occident and the Professional Insurance Brokers Association of Córdoba, Huelva and Seville (Colmedse) have renewed their collaboration agreement in a bid to continue promoting the role of brokerage in the insurance sector, and to offer new training and development opportunities for members.

The agreement was signed at the Association's headquarters at an event attended by Occident's David Gil, Centre South Regional Director, together with Raúl Palomino, Director of the Southwest Area. Colmedse was represented by Rafael Cabello, Chairman; Jesús Lozano, Deputy Chairman; and Magdalena Campos, Treasurer.

With this renewal, Occident reaffirms its commitment to brokerage as the key channel in insurance distribution and strengthens its commitment to brokers, facilitating their professional development through training and specialised resources.

David Gil, Occident's Centre South Regional Director, emphasised the importance of this alliance: "Brokers are an essential part of our strategy, and this agreement with Colmedse allows us to continue to strengthen ties with them. We want to offer them tools and conditions that promote their professional growth and help them to provide a better service to their customers".

Rafael Cabello, chairman of Colmedse, emphasised the significance of collaboration with leading companies in the sector: "At the Association, we are constantly working to bring value to our members, and the renewal of this agreement with Occident is another example of our commitment to brokerage and its professional development".

Thanks to this agreement, the broker members will be able to access new training initiatives and other resources that will allow them to continue strengthening their role within the insurance ecosystem.

Andalusia, a crucial region for Occident

Andalusia plays a key role in the Occident balance sheet. The insurer has 1,910 brokers in the region, representing 13% of its total network.

For Occident, the network of agents and brokers, with more than 14,000 insurance brokers, is paramount in its business strategy. This channel represents more than 90% of its turnover and serves as a direct link between the company and its customers.
