Occident renews its collaboration agreement with the Association of Insurance Mediators of Madrid

"The company reinforces its commitment to professional mediation and the development of the insurance sector through training, institutional collaboration and support for the community of mediators"

Occident has renewed its collaboration agreement with the Association of Insurance Mediators of Madrid, thus reinforcing its commitment to professional mediation in the region as a key pillar for the distribution of insurance solutions and a guarantee of trust and closeness with customers.

The agreement, signed at the Association's headquarters, was attended by the president of the Madrid Association of Mediators, Elena Jiménez de Andrade, the director of Occident's Brokers Channel, David Gil, and the Central-South territorial director of Brokers, Vicente Moreno. This agreement reinforces the insurer's participation in the Association's Comprehensive Cooperation Plan, an initiative aimed at promoting training, innovation and the development of value-added services for mediators.

In a world where the role of the mediator is becoming increasingly important as a trusted figure in client support, this agreement allows progress in the professionalisation of the sector and in the generation of specialised knowledge, as well as in strengthening the role of the Association as an institutional interlocutor.

'With this renewal, we are reaffirming our commitment to mediators, a strategic channel for Occident due to their proximity to the client and their ability to offer personalised, high-quality support. We want to continue supporting them in their professional development and contribute to the growth of the sector together', said Occident representative David Gil.

For her part, the president of the Association, Elena Jiménez de Andrade, stated: 'The renewal of our alliance with Occident is excellent news for all Madrid mediators.' In today's dynamic and demanding market environment, having the support of a company that understands and values the role of the mediator as a fundamental pillar of its strategy is vital. This agreement is, above all, educational and institutional. We would like to thank Occident for their renewed trust in our Comprehensive Cooperation Plan, which allows us to continue providing our members with the necessary tools to achieve maximum professionalism and excellence in customer service.'

Training, visibility and sector collaboration

The agreement includes a wide range of actions aimed at strengthening the relationship between the insurer and the professional association. These include organising training sessions on products and market trends, participating in conferences aimed at mediators and future professionals, as well as disseminating content and current sector information through the Association's channels.

Occident will also have a prominent presence in the initiatives of the Association's Centre for Studies, including the use of the company's training materials and participation in academic and outreach activities.

Promoting mediation as a key channel

For Occident, the network of agents and brokers, with more than 13,000 insurance intermediaries, is paramount in its business strategy. In Madrid, the insurer has more than 1,770 mediators. This channel represents more than 90% of its turnover and serves as a direct link between the company and its customers.
