"The insurer is continuing to foster the group's professional development in Castilla-La Mancha."
Occident and the Albacete Association of Insurance Brokers have signed a partnership agreement with the aim of supporting training and capacity building for insurance brokers, improving brokerage services and undertaking shared projects which will benefit the insurance industry in the region.
“The agreement marks a significant milestone in the partnership between these two institutions," argued Isabel Mª García, the Association's chair. "It promises to unlock and enhance professional and business relationships in the insurance industry in the Albacete region." "The agreement we have signed will facilitate the joint development of initiatives to further improve brokerage and the insurance industry while continuing to build a robust role for brokers," added Albert Arenas, Occident's Sales Director for General Insurance. The agreement was concluded at the Association's head office in the presence of its chair, Isabel Mª García, and Álvaro Soriano, Occident's Director of Brokers for the Region of Valencia.
One of the key action strands in this agreement is running continuous learning programmes for insurance brokers. This will ensure that these professionals are always kept up to speed with the latest industry regulations and practices. Seminars, workshops and specialised courses will be held to upgrade their skills and competences.
Occident will also furnish the Association's members with state-of-the-art tools and resources to optimise brokerage services. The agreement further includes identifying and pursuing joint projects to spur the insurance industry's growth in Albacete.
In short, this agreement brings numerous benefits for both brokers and Occident alike. For brokers, it translates into specialised and up-to-date training, using cutting-edge tools and resources provided by Occident plus the chance to take part in innovative projects which will enhance their professional practices. For Occident, it means building up its footprint and reputation in the Albacete region, direct engagement with the Association's highly skilled professionals and the opportunity to roll out and test new insurance brokerage solutions.
