"The insurer has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Campus Xavi, reinforcing its support for grassroots sport and the training of young footballers"
Occident has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Campus Xavi, consolidating its commitment to promoting grassroots sport and fostering values such as effort, self-improvement, camaraderie and teamwork among new generations.
The 28th edition of Campus Xavi was held from 28 June to 11 July at the Santuario del Collell sports facilities in Banyoles (Girona), and was attended by 600 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15, who participated in two sessions with 300 participants each. For two weeks, the young footballers enjoyed training sessions, competitions, sports activities and different experiences designed to boost both their sporting progress and their personal development.
Through this sponsorship, Occident strengthens its commitment to initiatives that promote sports and support young people in their growth. Campus Xavi, promoted by former player and coach Xavi Hernández, has trained more than 16,000 boys and girls, and has established itself as a benchmark initiative in football training, combining technical learning, coexistence and values linked to sport.
Josep Riera, Director of Occident's Agency Channel, highlighted that 'renewing our support for Campus Xavi reaffirms our commitment to initiatives that promote the development of young people through sport. Football is an extraordinary tool for transmitting values such as effort, camaraderie, perseverance and teamwork, principles that we share at Occident and that we want to continue promoting together with benchmark projects like this one.'
With this collaboration, Occident reinforces its connection with sport and its commitment to projects that generate a positive impact on society, especially those aimed at promoting healthy habits and values among children and young people.
