Occident renews its commitment to the Malaga Association of Insurance Brokers

"Both organisations will extend their agreement to promote brokerage for a further year and will introduce measures and organise activities to increase the expertise of these professionals. "

Occident has renewed its agreement with the Malaga Association of Insurance Brokers in a bid to strengthen the standing of insurance mediators across the province and promote their activities in the province. As part of the agreement, the insurer will also promote participation in events and activities the Association puts on over the course of the year, such as courses and seminars to support this professional network.

The renewal agreement was signed in the Association's offices in the presence of the Chairman of the Association of Insurance Brokers of Málaga, Benito Rius; Alberto Bartolomé, Director of the South-eastern area of Occident Brokers; and Raúl Molina, Director of the south-eastern area of Occident's brokerage channel.

During the meeting, Bartolomé highlighted "the essential and indispensable role of brokers in the development of the insurer's business model, given that they play a fundamental and indispensible role in the development of the company," and thanked the Association for renewing this collaboration protocol.

For his part, Rius said that "it is a pleasure to count on the support of a leading insurer such as Occident for another year. By renewing this agreement, we are consolidating a long-term collaboration, strengthening the development of brokers and improving insurance distribution and marketing in the province."

Occident, a brand that supports insurance mediation

For Occident, the channel of agents and brokers, made up of a commercial network of more than 14,000 mediators, is key to its business strategy, as they represent more than 90% of turnover and act as the direct link between the company and its customers. Their in-depth knowledge of the market and ability to offer personalised advice make them essential to ensure the satisfaction and loyalty of the insured parties. Therefore, investing in its promotion is a priority to maintaining excellence in customer service and innovation in the insurance sector.
