Occident strengthens its commitment to music with its sponsorship of the Cruïlla Festival for the third consecutive year

In its commitment to bringing culture and live music closer to all audiences, Occident will sponsor the Cruïlla Festival, held from 8-11 July 2026 at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, for the third consecutive year. The festival has become firmly established as an essential event in the music calendar, offering a unique experience that goes way beyond concerts, with new music, art, comedy and dance performances.

In line with its commitment to creating unique music-related experiences, Occident consolidates its leadership in musical and cultural sponsorship by reinforcing its support for the festival as a way to get closer to its customers, connect with new audiences and support purposeful cultural initiatives. As an official sponsor, Occident will give its name to one of the festival's main stages, as well as an area called Occident Lounge, an area designed to enjoy the experience in greater comfort. In addition, this year the insurer will be hosting an interactive T-shirt customisation workshop in its lounge, featuring exclusive designs created especially for the event.

Cruïlla 2026 will feature an eclectic and diverse programme, with a mix of international artists and local and national talent. Among the most prominent names on the lineup are Pixies, David Byrne, Halsey, Faithless, The Black Crowes, The Hives, Rigoberta Bandini, Garbage, Two Door Cinema Club, Els Pets, Sigrid, Mishima, Judeline and Sidonie, among many others.

Sustainability will continue to be one of the festival's central themes, as it has a Sustainability Plan focused on three major challenges: reducing emissions and environmental footprint, promoting the circular economy within the festival and fostering a fairer, more accessible and committed culture. Once again, there will be a commitment to energy from renewable sources.

The Cruïlla Festival is one of more than 150 experiences that the insurer offers through Occident Live, its new platform designed to bring live music, culture and leisure to everyone.
