Occident offers free water-repellent treatment to improve visibility on the road

"Occident customers and employees who have taken out car insurance with vehicle glass coverage will be able to benefit from this promotion, which improves their safety during the rainy season"

Until 30 November 2025, Occident customers and employees with vehicle glass coverage included in their car insurance will be able to receive a free water-repellent treatment for their vehicle's windscreen.

With the arrival of autumn and the increase in rainfall, Occident is once again focusing on road safety. The treatment creates an invisible layer on the glass that repels water and makes drops slide off more easily, resulting in safer and more comfortable driving on rainy days.

To request it, simply call 917 83 83 83, where the customer service team will provide a code and a list of the nearest partner workshops where the treatment can be applied.

This coating is effective for up to 12 months or 20,000 kilometres, depending on the conditions of use. In addition to improving visibility, it also acts as a protective barrier against dirt, dust, or limescale, and helps prevent the glass from freezing in cold areas.

Safety and prevention as a priority

Occident reinforces its commitment to road safety by promoting various free campaigns throughout the year that encourage prevention and vehicle care for its customers. Apart from its well-known water-repellent treatment campaign, Occident launched a free vehicle inspection campaign this summer, with the aim of preventing breakdowns and accidents over that period of the year when there is an increase in traffic.
