Occident promotes prevention and road safety with a new free vehicle inspection campaign

"From 1 June to 31 July, customers with insured private vehicles will be able to receive a professional visual inspection at any workshop in the AutoPresto network."

With the arrival of summer and an increase in road travel, it is essential to check a vehicle's condition before starting any trip. This prior check helps detect possible technical or safety failures that could cause future incidents on the road. For this reason, Occident has launched a new prevention campaign aimed at its car insurance policyholders, which involves free visual inspections for private vehicles, including passenger cars, minivans, SUVs and vans.

During the campaign, which will take place between 1 June and 31 July, the condition of the wheels and tyres, lighting, brakes, horn, engine and vehicle battery will be checked, as well as other essential parts such as belt tension and fluid levels. All of this, with the aim of preventing possible breakdowns and accidents during the months with the most traffic.

In the words of the Director of Car Insurance at Occident, Rafael Moyano, "we are fully committed to the safety and well-being of our insured parties. With this campaign, we want our customers to travel with greater peace of mind and confidence, while we are reinforcing our commitment to prevention".

Customers who wish to benefit from this service need to contact Occident by phone (917 83 83 83), where they will be assigned the workshop closest to their home, which will then contact them to arrange an appointment. All inspections will be carried out by the AutoPresto network of workshops, which has 464 workshops throughout the country.

In the last year, this network has obtained a high service satisfaction score of 91.6%. Furthermore, Occident has extended its fleet of courtesy vehicles for its customers by 50%, reaching a figure of more than 700 cars available.

AutoPresto, leader in sustainability

In 2025, Occident's AutoPresto workshop network has renewed for the third year running the respected "CZ Sustainable Workshop Network" certification awarded by Centro Zaragoza. This recognition underscores Occident's commitment to sustainability by confirming that AutoPresto operates to the highest environmental care, continuous improvement and climate neutrality standards. The renewal bolsters AutoPresto's standing as the first workshop network in Spain to earn and retain this certification, cementing its leadership in the sector.
