Occident expands its sponsorship of the Starlite festival and will lend its name to the charity gala as well as to the Marbella and Madrid editions

"The insurer reaffirms its presence as the title sponsor of the event. "

Occident has renewed and extended its partnership with the Starlite Occident festival for 2026, after six years of continuous collaboration. The insurer will be the main sponsor of the event's three main formats: The Marbella festival, its Madrid edition, and the charity gala held every summer in Marbella. As such, it consolidates its position as a strategic partner of the Starlite festival, continuing the collaboration initiated in 2020, and reinforces its commitment to promoting music, culture, and its social impact.

Within the framework of this agreement, Occident strengthens its presence as the title sponsor, giving its name not only to the iconic Marbella event, but also to the Madrid edition and its charity gala. The consequence of this is that the events will be renamed Starlite Occident Marbella, Starlite Occident Madrid, and Gala Starlite Occident.

Another of the key features of the new agreement with Starlite lies in the sponsorship of the festival's charity gala, the Gala Starlite Occident. This is the biggest charity event of the summer in Marbella, bringing together leading figures from the cultural, social, and business spheres in an evening marked by music and commitment to good causes. With this sponsorship, the company is boosting the reach and visibility of an initiative that channels resources to social causes, in line with Occident's values and the search for a positive impact on our society.

Through the Starlite Foundation, the festival has developed a long-term social and educational commitment over the course of 17 years, representing a legacy that is built in parallel to the cultural project. The Gala Starlite Occident lies at the heart of the festival and is a key part of this mission, which understands music and culture as tools for social transformation, inclusion, education, and positive impact on people.

The projects promoted by the Starlite Foundation reflect a clear vocation for the future and a firm commitment to new generations, consolidating Starlite as a cultural platform with a solid social dimension, a long-term vision, and an active responsibility to society, in line with Occident's values.

Starlite Occident has revealed the artists who will headline this year's Marbella festival lineup: Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5, Grupo Frontera, Deep Purple, Carlos Rivera and Sergio Dalma are some of the first names confirmed for the new edition of the internationally recognised boutique festival. Additionally, as is tradition, after each concert the venue will be transformed into a large open-air nightclub, hosting afterparties with additional performances by other artists.

The Starlite Occident experience is completed with a carefully prepared gourmet food offering. Specifically, the venue will feature five innovative, high-quality dining spaces where attendees can sample the best of local and international cuisine prepared by renowned chefs.

In the words of Occident's Marketing and Communications Director, Berta Solé, 'As a company that protects and accompanies people in life's key moments, we are pleased to strengthen our alliance with Starlite. Music and culture are a source of memorable experiences, and Starlite has created an extraordinary project that connects with the public through excellence, quality, and responsible leisure.' Furthermore, she adds that 'being part of the charity gala reinforces our social commitment: It is an initiative that channels support towards charitable causes and allows us to contribute, together with Starlite, to generating value beyond the stage.'

Sandra García-Sanjuán, founder and CEO of Starlite, said, 'The continuation and expansion of our alliance with Occident, after six years of collaboration, reflects a way of understanding projects from the perspective of vision, commitment, and the long term. Together with Occident, we continue to build a cultural project with real impact, which goes beyond the stage and understands music and culture as tools for social transformation. Strengthening the Starlite Occident Gala means reinforcing the purpose that gave origin to this project 17 years ago and the legacy we want to leave for future generations.'
